More Than Just Another Graphic T-Shirt<\/h2>
We love graphic clothing, but there's a difference between creating artwork and creating something people genuinely want to wear.<\/p>
That's becoming an important part of the Charge Design philosophy<\/strong>.<\/p>A design might look brilliant on a computer screen, but it still needs to work when it's printed across someone's chest.<\/p>
That means thinking about proportion, colour, positioning and how the artwork interacts with the garment itself.<\/p>
Our core colour palette reflects that approach:<\/p>
Black. White. Charge blue.<\/strong><\/p>It's simple, distinctive and gives us room to develop completely different designs while retaining a recognisable Charge identity.<\/p>

Why We Chose the Men's Remill\u00ae T-Shirt<\/h2>
The artwork is only half of a good T-shirt.<\/p>
The garment underneath matters too.<\/p>
For our core men's range we've chosen the Men's Remill\u00ae T-Shirt<\/strong>, made from:<\/p>50% Post-Consumer Organic Cotton<\/strong><\/p>50% Organic Cotton<\/strong><\/p>For us, that makes far more sense than putting our designs onto the cheapest blank T-shirt available.<\/p>
If we're asking somebody to buy a Charge Design shirt, we want it to be something they'll actually want to keep wearing.<\/p>
It also fits the wider idea behind Charge Design: make something worth owning rather than simply adding more disposable clothing to the world.<\/strong><\/p>From T-Shirts to Men's Organic Cotton Hoodies<\/h2>
The Charge identity isn't stopping with T-shirts.<\/p>
We've also taken the original logo design across to our Men's Remill\u00ae Hoodie<\/strong>, again made from:<\/p>50% Post-Consumer Organic Cotton and 50% Organic Cotton.<\/strong><\/p>That gives customers the option of the lighter everyday Charge Design T-shirt or a hoodie carrying the same black, white and electric-blue identity.<\/p>
The aim is to gradually build a collection rather than simply upload hundreds of unrelated designs.<\/p>
Designs With Something Behind Them<\/h2>
Charge Design isn't going to be restricted to one style.<\/p>
That's deliberate.<\/p>
Our Born \u2022 Live \u2022 Die Life Clock<\/strong> design, for example, couldn't be further removed from a simple logo tee.<\/p>It follows the progression of a human life \u2014 from birth and childhood through adulthood and old age to its inevitable conclusion.<\/p>
At its centre is a clock.<\/p>
The message is simple:<\/p>
BORN \u2022 LIVE \u2022 DIE<\/strong><\/p>Everybody gets the beginning.<\/p>
Everybody eventually reaches the end.<\/p>
It's what happens in the middle that matters.<\/p>
That's why LIVE<\/strong> takes centre stage.<\/p>It's a T-shirt, but there's an idea behind it.<\/p>
And that's the direction we want Charge Design to take.<\/p>
Clothing Can Be Serious \u2014 But It Doesn't Have to Be<\/h2>
Not every T-shirt needs a deep philosophical meaning either.<\/p>
Sometimes a good T-shirt should simply make someone laugh.<\/p>
That's why you'll also find cheekier designs, automotive-inspired clothing, cultural references and ideas that probably wouldn't make it through a corporate design meeting.<\/p>
That's fine with us.<\/p>
We aren't trying to make every Charge Design product appeal to everybody.<\/p>
In fact, we'd rather not.<\/p>
The best designs usually make somebody feel something.<\/strong><\/p>Designed by Father and Son<\/h2>
Charge Design has also grown from something personal.<\/p>
It's being developed as a father-and-son design project<\/strong>, combining different ideas, influences and generations rather than trying to manufacture an artificial fashion-brand identity.<\/p>That means you'll see the collection evolve.<\/p>
Some ideas will be clean and understated.<\/p>
Others will be much bolder.<\/p>
There'll be cars, humour, philosophy, lifestyle designs and probably a few things that are difficult to put into any particular category.<\/p>
That's part of the point.<\/p>
A New UK Clothing Brand in the Making<\/h2>
We're at the beginning of the Charge Design journey.<\/p>
Rather than pretending we're an enormous fashion house, we'd rather build the range properly \u2014 one design at a time<\/strong>.<\/p>The goal is to develop a recognisable UK clothing brand around good-quality garments and designs that people genuinely choose to wear.<\/p>
Not because there's a logo on them.<\/p>
Because they actually like them.<\/p>
The original Charge Design Men's T-Shirt<\/strong> represents the starting point.<\/p>Black.<\/p>
